FAQ

Common questions.

How do I get a tattoo with Guy?

Reach out via the contact form, phone, or email and describe your idea. Custom work starts with a free consultation — in person or via video call. From there Guy will arrange a session that works for both of you.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Custom work is $160 per hour with a $100 minimum.

What styles does Guy specialise in?

Japanese and Realism are Guy's primary specialties, but he is open to all styles — Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Blackwork, Geometric, cover-ups, and fully custom pieces. Bring your references to the consultation.

Do you offer piercing?

No. Art Studio Tattoos is tattoo-only.

Do you do walk-ins?

No. Art Studio Tattoos is appointment-only. This lets Guy give full attention to each client and prepare properly for every piece.

What are the studio hours?

Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Can I bring a friend?

One support person is welcome. Please do not bring large groups — the studio is a focused work environment.

What is the age policy?

18 and over only. No exceptions. Government-issued photo ID is required at your appointment. Guy does not tattoo minors, even with parental consent.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Eat a full meal before you arrive. Stay hydrated. Get a good night's sleep. Wear or bring clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your session.

Can I use numbing cream?

Ask Guy at your consultation. Some placements and skin types respond differently to numbing products. He will advise you on what to use and when to apply it.

What is the touch-up policy?

Touch-ups are handled case by case. Touch-ups caused by poor aftercare (sun exposure, picking, swimming) are not covered.

Do you offer flash designs?

Flash designs are coming soon — one-off pieces, each tattooed only once. The Flash page will list them when they are ready; in the meantime, reach out and Guy will let you know.

Does it hurt?

Yes. How much depends on placement, your pain tolerance, and session length. First-timers are often surprised how manageable it is. Ribs, spine, and knees are the most sensitive spots.

Do you offer gift cards?

Gift cards are coming soon. Reach out through the contact page and Guy will sort one out for you in the meantime.
